Pocket Spring Sleep System: This mattress employs our Flip Free Technology. Constructed with our unique foam encased inline tempered contra rotating pocket coil system. That means the wire is heated and formed rather than formed then heated. This ensures the wire retains its memory. Support system descriptions

Power Coil
An interconnected coil system designed for stable, consistent support across the mattress. The coils form the foundation of the sleep surface, helping provide dependable support night after night.
Pocket Coil
Each coil is enclosed in its own pocket, allowing it to respond more independently to pressure. This helps the mattress adapt to different areas of your body and reduce movement transfer.
Miracoil®
Serta's continuous coil support system, engineered to provide structured support across the mattress. Its continuous construction is designed to distribute load through the support system and provide a stable foundation for the comfort layers above.
Power Pocket
Responsive pocket coils combine with a reinforced foundation, where specified for the model. The feel layers and support system are designed to respond together.
Best of Both™
Different spring technologies work together in one engineered support system. A structured foundation provides support underneath, while a more responsive layer closer to your body allows individual movement.
Foam / No Coil System
A foam-based mattress uses foam for both comfort and its supporting structure, rather than a separate coil system. Support First makes this distinction clear when comparing foam mattresses with those built around engineered spring support.

Why Support Comes First

Feel is what you notice first. Support is what your body relies on. We choose every Bed Studio mattress by its support system first. This engineered structure keeps your spine aligned and holds its shape, night after night, for years.

Inside This Mattress

Every good night's sleep starts with the right support. At Bed Studio, we believe you should choose the support system before the feel. Support keeps your spine aligned, distributes body weight and helps maintain lasting comfort night after night.

Once you have chosen the right support system for your body, consider the feel: Firm, Medium or Plush with Serta, or one balanced Calibrated Feel™ with Lylax. Feel is what you notice first. Support is what your body relies on for years.

We are finalising the full specifications for this range, including coil systems, comfort layers, foundation and warranty. Choose your support system above. Our team can confirm the exact build for your size before dispatch.

How the Support Systems Compare

Firm, Medium and Plush describe feel. They don't describe how well a mattress supports you. This is how the engineered support systems compare, low to high.

Ratings reflect Kiran Sales Group’s internal assessments and have not been independently verified.

Why we don’t recommend foam or fibre as a core: they make good comfort layers, but as a support core they compress under pressure, retain heat and fatigue faster than a spring system.

A qualitative comparison of support-system design, assuming comparable mattress quality. Comfort layers, materials and overall construction also influence real-world performance. “Recommended” reflects the Support-First philosophy, not a judgement of any individual mattress.
