Power Coil
An interconnected coil system designed for stable, consistent support across the mattress. The coils form the foundation of the sleep surface, helping provide dependable support night after night.
Pocket Coil
Each coil is enclosed in its own pocket, allowing it to respond more independently to pressure. This helps the mattress adapt to different areas of your body and reduce movement transfer.
Miracoil®
Serta's continuous coil support system, engineered to provide structured support across the mattress. Its continuous construction is designed to distribute load through the support system and provide a stable foundation for the comfort layers above.
Power Pocket
Responsive pocket coils combine with a reinforced foundation, where specified for the model. The feel layers and support system are designed to respond together.
Best of Both™
Different spring technologies work together in one engineered support system. A structured foundation provides support underneath, while a more responsive layer closer to your body allows individual movement.
Foam / No Coil System

Why we don’t recommend foam or fibre as a core: they make good comfort layers, but as a support core they compress under pressure, retain heat and fatigue faster than a spring system.
